Developing the content for a complete website
If you are interested in new content being created for your website please fill out my questionnaire. Below you’ll find an explanation of the process.
1. Initial Contact
This step entails meeting the client online or face to face and gathering information. It is extremely crucial since it requires the writer to understand the client’s requirements, company, goals and target audience.
I will ask questions to get a perfect understanding of what you require. This saves a lot of time and work during the website development process.
The planning stage is another crucial step on the ladder because what’s decided and mapped here sets the milestones and timeline for the entire web content project. This stage also requires client interaction and appropriate attention to detail.
You may have already completed a survey set by your designer if so I would appreciate having sight of this so I can gather even more details about your vision.
If you haven’t set down a website design structure with your designer I would appreciate it if you would address the questionnaire I attach here.
In this phase, a site-map is created and reviewed and approved by you. As soon as this site-map for the new site is finalised, I can start work on the content.
As you know, at the heart of every website lies its content. It is what hooks your users and keeps them coming back for more.
A good content plan will increase the presence and usability of your website as well as speed up web development. It’s a good idea to decide on the content before you get to the visual design cycle.
My job is to keep your content focused, interesting, informative and useful so that I add to the allure of your business.
The timeline for this phase varies greatly depending on the number of pages and if you are prompt with providing me with all of the knowledge I will need to address the content for the site. The speed with which you are able to provide the information I will need will determine the speed with which I can deliver each stage of the content plan.
I look forward to discussing the plan with you in depth.
